브라질에서 살던 카피바라 한 마리가 뜻밖의 사고로 한국의 작은 시골 마을에 오게 되었습니다. 낯선 동물을 만난 시골 어르신들이 ‘카피바라’를 ‘갑희바라’로 잘못 알아들으면서 이 카피바라는 ‘갑희’라는 이름을 얻게 됩니다. ‘갑희바라’는 브라질의 카피바라를 한국적인 정서와 일상 속 모습으로 재해석한 캐릭터 브랜드입니다. 농부 할아버지와 함께 살아가는 갑희의 느긋하고 배부른 시골 일상을 담아내고 있습니다. 멍하고 나른한 갑희를 통해 바쁜 일상 속에서도 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있는 여유와 편안함을 전하고자 합니다.

One day, a capybara living in Brazil unexpectedly finds itself in a small rural village in South Korea after an unforeseen accident. When the elderly villagers mistake “Capybara” for “Gapybara,” the capybara comes to be known as “Gapy.” GAPYBARA is a character brand that reinterprets the Brazilian capybara through the lens of Korean culture and everyday life. It captures Gapy’s laid-back, food-filled rural life alongside a farmer grandfather. Through Gapy’s dazed and relaxed charm, the brand aims to bring a sense of leisure and comfort, offering a moment of rest amid the busyness of everyday life.
