우리는 SNS, 주변 사람들, 사회가 요구하는 기준에 끊임없이 노출되며 자신을 비교하고 평가합니다. VACCINE: ME는 이러한 경험을 ‘바이러스’에 비유하여 외부의 기준이 자존감에 침투하고 축적되는 과정을 시각화한 연구 프로젝트입니다. 152명의 설문을 바탕으로 외모·성취·가치관 영역에서의 비교와 평가 경험을 수집하고, 이를 바이러스의 형태로 중첩하여 표현했습니다. VACCINE: ME는 외부의 기준이 나를 정의하지 않도록, 그 기준을 다시 바라보고 나만의 기준을 발견할 수 있는 경험을 제공합니다.

We are constantly exposed to social media, people around us, and society’s standards, leading us to compare ourselves with others. VACCINE: ME is a research project that uses the metaphor of a “virus” to show how external standards affect and accumulate within our sense of self-worth. Based on a survey of 152 participants, the project explores comparison and judgment in three areas: appearance, achievement, and personal values. These experiences are visualized as layered viral forms.VACCINE: ME invites us to question external standards and discover values of our own.
