파괴식물

외래식물이란 사람의 활동에 의해 의도적 또는 비의도적으로 국외에서 국내로 들어와, 자연 생태계에서 여러 세대를 거듭하며 토착화된 식물을 말합니다. 그중 생태계 교란 식물로 지정된 외래식물은 토착종보다 번식력이 뛰어나 토종 식물의 군락을 밀어냅니다. 이 프로젝트는 아이들이 어린 시절부터 생태계 교란 식물의 위험성을 깨닫고, 직접 경험할 수 있도록 하고자 시작되었습니다. 아이는 부모와 함께 책을 읽으며 교란 식물을 알아가고, 생태계 교란 식물이 무리 지어 자라는 한강 주변에서 그것들을 직접 찾아 제거하는 경험을 하게 됩니다.

An invasive plant refers to a species introduced abroad by human activity, becoming established over generations within natural ecosystems. Notably, invasive plants designated as ecosystem-disturbing species possess stronger reproductive abilities than native flora, displacing native communities. This project was launched to help children recognize the risks of invasive plants early on through firsthand learning. Children explore these concepts by reading with their parents and gain hands-on experience by locating and removing clustered invasive plants along the Han River.
