근미래, AI 기업 '알파 더 퓨처'가 만든 대화형 관계 구축 AI '미러메이트'에 몰입하던 사람들이 하나둘씩 자신의 정체성을 잃고 변이하는 사건이 일어납니다. 그들은 여전히 지구에 살고 있지만 더 이상 지구인과 소통할 수 없는 존재, 외계의 존재가 되어버린 것입니다. 플레이어는 소통 재난 관리부 소속 자아 복구원이 되어 외부인의 시점에서 그들이 '소통 재난'에 이르게 된 배경과 과정을 이해하고, 본래의 모습을 되찾도록 도와야 합니다. 과연 플레이어는 무사히 임무를 마칠 수 있을까요?

In the near future, people immersed in “Mirror Mate,” a conversational relationship-building AI created by the company “Alpha the Future,” begin, one by one, to lose their identities and transform. They still live on Earth, but can no longer communicate with other humans; they have become something alien. As an Identity Restorer from the Department of Communication Disaster Management, the player must understand, from an outsider’s perspective, how they came to this “communication disaster” and help them return to who they once were. Will the player be able to complete the mission?
