AMEONG is a timid baby sea squirt whose soft, squishy body is easily swayed by the current. Though she often tears up or pauses, she finds her own pace and eventually gets through the day. Centered on the concept of “getting through the day, even in tears,” the project uses her soft form and expressive gestures to portray everyday struggles and recovery. It conveys that we do not have to be perfect to move forward in our own way and at our own pace. The character IP expands across animated KakaoTalk emoticons, a promotional video, storybooks, and merchandise.
