도시는 빛, 소리, 냄새 등 끊임없는 감각적 자극으로 가득합니다. 누군가에게는 사소한 자극이 예민한 사람에게는 쉽게 지워지지 않는 피로로 남겨집니다. H.S.M(Highly Sensitive Mold) 프로젝트는 이러한 불편을 개인이 아닌 도시 환경의 관점에서 탐구합니다. 이동·상업·완충공간에서 경험하는 감각 자극과 신체의 반응을 수집하고, 데이터와 시각 언어로 번역해 보이지 않던 불편을 가시화합니다. 나아가 예민함을 결함이 아닌 섬세한 감각으로 재해석하며, 자신의 감각을 이해하고 도시 속에서 스스로를 보호하는 방법을 제안합니다.

The city is filled with constant sensory stimuli—light, noise, smells, and crowds. What seems insignificant to some can leave lasting fatigue in highly sensitive individuals. H.S.M (Highly Sensitive Mold) explores this discomfort through the lens of urban environments rather than personal shortcomings. By collecting and visualizing sensory experiences and physical responses across transit, commercial, and restorative spaces, the project makes invisible discomfort visible. It reframes sensitivity as a heightened awareness rather than a flaw, helping individuals understand their senses and find ways to protect themselves in urban life.
