웨이웨이브 페스티벌

WAYWAVE 페스티벌은 '같은 길에서 서로의 순간에 공감하고 연결되는 것'에 주목한 조금 다른 페스티벌입니다. 매일 반복되는 서울 지하철의 이동을 하나의 음악 페스티벌로 연결합니다. 한강을 도하하는 다섯 가지 노선은 오선지가 되고, 역은 음표가 되어 새로운 악보로 재해석했습니다. 길과 지하철, 각자의 살아가는 방식을 뜻하는 ‘WAY’와 음악과 감정이 퍼져나가는 파동인 ‘WAVE’를 결합해, 역과 시간마다 달라지는 음악을 발견하고 같은 길을 지나가는 사람들이 음악을 통해 서로의 순간에 공감하고 연결되는 경험을 만들었습니다

Waywave Festival is a slightly different festival focusing on connecting and empathizing with one another on the same path. It transforms daily Seoul subway commutes into a music festival. Five subway lines crossing the Han River become musical staves, and stations become notes, reinterpreting movement into a new score. Combining "WAY"—representing paths and lifestyles—with "WAVE"—symbolizing the spread of music and emotion—it discovers changing music by station and time. Through this, WAYWAVE creates an experience where commuters on the same path resonate and connect through music.
