Mom's Table is a mobile new media design project that helps Chinese students abroad cook and share familiar meals from home. Recipes adapted to local ingredients, AI-powered ingredient substitution guidance, nearby grocery store search and fridge management support cooking in an unfamiliar environment. Cooking guidance in a mother's voice and shared meals with friends from the same hometown connect familiar flavors with emotional warmth. Warm colors and friendly graphics evoke the comfort of home cooking abroad.
