THE GAPS WE LINGER IN

As reflected in the word In-gan (人間, human)—meaning "between (間) people (人)"—relationships in Eastern thought signify both distance and connection between two beings. Starting from this root, The Gaps We Linger In renders the unique contours of space found within three relationships—parent and child, lovers, and friends—through calm graphics and illustrations. Tracing these gaps, viewers gently reflect on the cycles of relationships, the meaning of lingering within them, and the kind of presence we hold for one another.
