현대인은 타인의 시선과 끝없는 평가 속에서 자신을 끊임없이 조정하며 살아간다. CAFFEINE은 SNS가 만든 비교의 굴레 안에서 흐려져 가는 자아를, 각성제인 '카페인'을 통해 다시 깨우는 프로젝트다. 시선의 압박에 눌려 억제된 상태에서, 각성의 순간을 지나, 마침내 타인의 시선을 넘어 자신을 드러내는 해방에 이르는 서사를 르세라핌이라는 아티스트에 담아 풀어낸다. K-pop을 매개로 삼아, 무뎌진 자아에 던지는 한 번의 각성. CAFFEINE은 관람자에게 묻는다 — 지금 당신은, 누구의 시선으로 자신을 보고 있는가.

Modern people live constantly adjusting themselves under the gaze and endless evaluation of others. CAFFEINE is a project that reawakens, through the stimulant "caffeine," a self that is fading within the cycle of comparison created by social media. It tells a narrative through the artist LE SSERAFIM, moving from a suppressed state under the pressure of others' gaze, through a moment of awakening, to a final liberation in which one goes beyond others' gaze and reveals oneself. Using K-pop as a medium, it is a single awakening thrown at a dulled self. CAFFEINE asks the viewer: Right now, through whose eyes are you seeing yourself?
